Kasperski 7. Protects PC largely, and it's easy to use. It should be a little cheaper.

Kaspersky is great!

Kaspersky is great!

I had Macafee, AVG, didn't really like it much. Then, I used Norton Internet Security Professional.

Now I am using Kaspersky internet security 7. I really like it and I will not use any thing else for a long time.

It found stuff on my PC that Norton NEVER found. Plus, the update rates are amazing

I'm quite impressed by Kapersky's Intrusion Detection system. It has blocked MSSQL.worm .Helkern from intruding into my computer many times. Even though this worm does not affect home users,I still I think it's good. It also blocked others which I cannot remember because I did not save the reports. It also detects whatever changes are made to computer settings by other programs during installation and prompts you to allow or block the changes. Windows Defender can also do this but Windows Defender is an anti spyware program whereas Kapersky Int Sec protects from both spywares and viruses. And each time it updates I see more definitions are added than AVG. In the past AVG helped to protect my computer form Adware Generic, Brontok and RavMon.E. It's not good to have two anti virus program on one pc. If I have to choose between these two I will choose Kapersky.

Didn`t work.

I donwloaded the software but it completely blocked the machine. I had to uninstall. I have a HPNX9420 protable with WSindows XP2.
